We know very little about artist Fred Pearson. Auction results show him as a a British 19th century artist, however the painting was purchased in Canada and framed in Canada so we are attributing it as Canadian. The landscape certainly could be viwed as British so we will leave the final attribution up to the owner until attribution can be confirmed. More research is required.
